Before the venue filled up, we met them somewhere quieter.

A park.
Open space. Morning light.
No audience. No roles yet.

It wasn’t a shoot as much as it was a pause — a moment of stillness before the day began to move.

Before Everything Began

The Day Gathers

The venue filled slowly.

Decor found its place. Conversations layered themselves into the air.
Sanjana stepped inside to get ready, and the outside world continued its quiet preparation.

Then Samarth arrived.

He was welcomed by Sanjana’s family and led inside by his father-in-law — a gesture that felt simple, warm, and quietly significant.

The day had begun to assemble.

In Their Own Time

The rituals unfolded without hurry.

Parents took their places. Movements repeated the way they always have — steady, familiar, intentional.

Sanjana entered first and completed her rituals on her own, fully present, unrushed.
When she stepped away, Samarth came in next, carrying the same calm into his own set of rituals.

They did not share the stage yet.
Each moment belonged to them individually, in their own time.

When They Returned Together

After a brief pause, they returned — together this time.

Dressed for the engagement ceremony, they stepped onto the stage as one, and the room responded instantly.

Rings were exchanged. A small dance followed.
Nothing felt excessive. Nothing felt staged.

Before the applause faded, they spoke about why they were choosing marriage — not just for themselves, but with a larger intent of giving back, of responsibility, of doing something meaningful beyond celebration.

After the Applause

Lunch was announced, and the formality gently dissolved.

Conversations opened up. The crowd thinned.
The day softened into something quieter.

Later, away from the audience and still in their engagement attire, Sanjana and Samarth stood together once more — no speeches left, no expectations remaining.

Just stillness at the end of a day built on intent.
